Eagle Rock Bank Announces Move to New Location in Rochester
With New Client-Centric Space
ROCHESTER, Minn. — December 17, 2025 — Eagle Rock Bank, a locally owned, relationship-driven community bank headquartered in Rochester, Minnesota, announced today that it is moving its current Rochester location to a new space just north of its existing branch.
The new location, situated just two miles from the current site, will open at 3701 40th Street NW at the end of March 2026. The updated space is designed to reflect Eagle Rock Bank’s relationship-centered business model, emphasizing personal connections and innovative, tailored solutions backed by deep industry knowledge.
A Thoughtful Move, the Same Commitment
“While our physical space is changing, our Rochester roots remain the same. The same people, the same name, the same commitment to Rochester,” said Brad Becker, CEO/President at Eagle Rock Bank. “We’re not going far — we’re just moving down the road. Our clients can expect a seamless transition with no disruption to our services.”
The new location is intentionally designed around how people bank today — flexible, digital-first, and centered on meaningful in-person connections when they matter most. The space will offer a more personal and comfortable banking experience for clients who value expertise and long-term relationships.
Looking Ahead to the Future of Community Banking
“This move reflects our growth and our confidence in the future of community banking — the place where it all began,” said Kelly Nelson, incoming President at Eagle Rock Bank. “While we understand that change can be an adjustment, we have our clients’ best interests in mind. The future of community banking blends personal connection with modern innovation, and we’ll continue leading the charge in Rochester.”
Leadership Transition
In conjunction with the move, Brad Becker will retire as President at the end of 2025 and continue serving on Eagle Rock Bank’s Board of Directors. Larry Schminski, current co-CEO, will become the bank’s sole CEO responsible for leading the bank’s strategic direction, ensuring growth and profitability, and focusing on business development. Kelly Nelson, currently Senior Vice President, will step into the role of President to lead the bank into its next chapter. Kelly McCloskey is the third member of the Executive Team. She joined the bank in June 2023 as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Human Resources.
Ongoing Commitment to the Rochester Community
Eagle Rock Bank remains deeply committed to supporting the Rochester community through its Soaring Hearts Program. For more than 25 years, the bank has partnered with local nonprofit organizations to support initiatives such as youth enrichment, first responder support, access to mental health resources, and services for individuals with disabilities.
